Distinguished Seminar Series 香港分部杰出学者講座 219 Prof. Hendrik Luesch University of Florida, USA 美国佛罗里达大学 Intro: Prof. Luesch has established an integrated platform of total synthesis, pharmacological, genomic and proteomic profiling developed in his research to achieve compounds and to understand their activities on the cellular and molecular level. In this presentation, Prof. Luesch the general research flow for drug discovery. He took cancer, eye disease and lung disease as the examples, and talked about how they discovered drug candidates and evaluated the drug efficacy with different models as well as the elucidated the binding spot and targeting mechanism.
