Invited Interview by Phoenix TV 凤凰衞视特邀采訪報道 Phoenix TV had a special interview with Prof. Pei-Yuan Qian, Director of the Hong Kong Branch (HKB) of the Southern Marine Science and Engineering Guangdong Laboratory (Guangzhou), and Chair Professor of the Department of Ocean Science of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prof. Qian Peiyuan shared his insight about the importance of marine science and the future development strategies of the HKB. Prof. Qian emphasized that the development of marine science was very important to our country, and we needed to protect, explore and unitize our marine resources. It is highly demanded to protect the marine ecosystem and ecological environment, which are totally dependent on powerful marine science and technology.
