34 In order to further enhance research strength and broaden research scope of the Hong Kong branch, the HKB funded extra 13 projects through the second round and special round of project application in 2021. Plus 47 projects funded in the first-round there are a total of 60 HKB research projects, including 19 from overseas, 28 from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and 13 from other non-HKUST universities at Hong Kong.
