Therefore, in this project I propose flow maps, a brand new data format combining density maps and optical flows, to monitor crowd motion while not suffering from problems occurred when directly applying optical flows on crowd data. I also construct a new model, FlowCounTR for flow map estimation. Experiments show that the performance still need improvements, but it will be a potential direction in the area of crowd motion analysis. AI Meets Big Data: User Analytics and Personalized Recommendation Based on Location Data Supervisor: CHAN Gary Shueng Han / CSE Student: XIANG Letian / COMP Course: UROP4100, Fall Dementia is a set of symptoms including loss of memory, and impaired decision-making abilities. It may cause severe physical, psychological, social, and economic impact, and affect not only the patient, but also their families, caregivers, and even society. To support people in need, we apply mobility analytics on a large group of patients using location data. Given the patients’ trajectories, we try to understand their activities and achieve the aim of anti-wandering to improve the quality of life of the affected people. We would consider the spatial and temporal aspects, and we would also conduct lost analysis on the records of wandering patients.
