School of Engineering Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering 146 Multi-agent System Control Supervisor: SHI Ling / ECE Student: WANG Yucheng / COSC Course: UROP1100, Spring With the rapid development of modern technology, the robotics industry is bursting with vigor. Various types of robots appear in our lives, and they serve all aspects from diet to living, from production to assembly, from land to sea and space. Under the guidance of Professor SHI Ling, we designed a cruise robot this semester, which can carry heavy objects for automatic navigation and obstacle avoidance. We believe that this robot will have many application scenarios at HKUST, from the delivery of books in the library to the transportation of items between laboratories. In the future, with further design and installation of robotic arms, "Ling Dynamic" will usher in more tasks and challenges. Multi-agent System Control Supervisor: SHI Ling / ECE Student: YUN Hojin / CPEG Course: UROP1000, Summer A multi-agent system is an emerging field in robotics. A problem that could not be solved with a single robot can be solved with multiple robots, such as collaborative object carrying, and search and rescue. Under the supervision of Professor Shi ling, this project’s goal is to design a multi-agent system composed of two robots finding their pathway to a target box’s location. Upon reaching the destination, two robots will coordinate to move the box and return it to a target location. The project could be further developed to carry more complex shaped objects or carry heavier objects with more robots, and could be used as This report will discuss the current progress of the project.
