Greetings and a vibrant welcome to the auspicious Year of the Dragon as we unveil the 5th edition of our biannual PPOL newsletter. The past months’ festivities have hopefully provided a rejuvenating break, allowing us to reconvene with renewed vigor for the remainder of the 2023-24 Academic Year. We return, eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. In these early chapters of 2024, our Division has been actively enhancing its academic and research capacities, aiming for a richer, more robust educational landscape. We’re committed to nurturing our growth alongside the HKUST GZ campus, fostering a synergistic environment for learning and discovery. As we continue to forge ahead, I am confident that the collective efforts of our faculty, researchers, and postgraduate students will soon be showcased for all to appreciate. Until then, I invite you to delve into this edition, which captures the essence of our recent endeavors. Thank you for your continued engagement and support.
