The objective is to develop scientific methods that enhance the ability to accurately assess these tests, contributing to the broader field of nuclear non-proliferation and arms control. The project will also emphasize engagement with key stakeholders, including German parliament members and experts from the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). Through this engagement, the research aims to facilitate discussions on findings and insights, fostering collaboration between academic research and policy-making to strengthen regulatory frameworks governing nuclear activities. Additionally, the project includes the preparation of grant proposals targeting funding sources such as the German Research Foundation and the Stanton Foundation.
