SERVICES Security Service To ensure the safety of residents, the Guard Room operates 24 hours daily monitoring the main gate access. Turnstiles will be in operation at the main gate and the entrance of two towers 24 hours daily. There is also a security officer patrolling the hall premises and handling emergency cases. To tighten the security during the busy hours, guard(s) will be deployed at the entrances of two towers during 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. daily (subject to actual needs) for identity checking. Cleaning Service All communal areas in the hall premises including Multi-Purpose Hall, Study Room, Kiosk, Sky Garden, lift lobbies, stairs and other areas in the hall premises will be cleaned by contract cleaners. Cleaning service for common areas, including living rooms, toilets and shower rooms in the apartments, will be performed around twice a month by contract cleaners. All residents should jointly maintain all common areas of their shared apartment in tidy and hygienic conditions. Residents will be responsible for keeping their own bedroom clean, as cleaning service is not provided for the bedrooms. Laundry Service The laundry room is located on G/F of the Hall and is equipped with washing machines and dryers operated by the Octopus Card system. Residents are required to pay for the washing ($8 per load of washing) and drying ($1 for 4 minutes of drying) services by using the Octopus kiosk available at G/F laundry room. Irons and ironing board are provided upon request and subject to availability. Garbage Disposal Hall attendants and contract cleaners will remove garbage from the public garbage bins in the refuse room on each floor regularly. Residents should be considerate and help maintain a hygienic environment by clearing their own garbage or unwanted items from their apartment everyday. Please put the garbage in plastic bags, tie them up properly and place them in the garbage bins in the refuse room on your floor. Large items should be disposed at the refuse chute on G/F directly. Recycling bins are also available. Repair and Maintenance If you find any defects or damages in your apartment, you should submit an online Defect Report Form. Repair and maintenance will be arranged accordingly. Equipment Loan Service Residents can borrow electric irons, laundry baskets, vacuum cleaners, trolleys, dehumidifiers, basketballs and board games from the Management Office during office hours. All loan items should be returned within 24 hours. Air-conditioning Service Air-conditioners are provided in bedrooms and common areas of the apartments. Residents are required to pay for the air-conditioning service (Hong Kong $1.60 per kWh) in their bedroom and common area of their shared apartment by using the top-up service through the Octopus kiosk available at the lift lobby on every floor. Residents should select the corresponding bedroom or apartment numbers on the kiosk and pay by tapping the Octopus Card on the scanner. Minimum charge for topping up each time is HK$20. The Management Office operates from 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (except 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) daily providing services to all residents in relation to living in the Hall. 17 18
