This study will cover six major IT skill categories: AI, Data Science, Big Data Technologies, Database Skills, Cloud & Mobile Technologies, and General IT Skills, analyzing 2,115,013 job positions and 916,846 unique users over the past five years (2019-2024), where the shortage are occurring and compare numbers of IT talents in Singapore, chosen for its proximity, cultural and economic similarities to Hong Kong. A comparative analysis with Singapore is done to explore talent retention and salary benchmarking, to be detailed later.
