With the anticipation to the arrival of a spring full of
promise (and I daresay, plenty of rain), we have a plethora
of science events lined up for you. In this issue of Science
Focus, find out the science behind human screams, read
about what it is like to be in the quietest room on Earth and
learn how bacteria communicate among themselves.
Make sure you send in your articles to our next round of
Science Focus Article Submission Competition! The newest
deadline is on
April 11
. To get your article published in the

issue of the magazine, please send your article to us
before that date.
So in the spirit of spring’s renewal, brush up on your
scientific knowledge, get proactive with your education
