He finds the sea view from campus striking — the university’s a perfect balance between modern convenience and a respite from hurried city life. Over 31% of HKUST’s student population are international students, making for a diverse and multicultural campus. The university has a relatively high percentage of international students among local higher education institutions, and numbers are on the rise — students are flocking from around the world to join HKUST’s programs and courses. Students are able to embrace diversity, learn from different perspectives and gain an invaluable global mindset, which continues to serve them well beyond their university years. Amirkhan’s performance at HKUST thus far has been exceptional, and he’s already looking ahead to what comes next. Graduates in Hong Kong enjoy great prospects after graduation, and a degree from a top-ranked university in Hong Kong opens doors locally and internationally.
