The year before graduation, Tsz-Fung accepted an offer to study at HKUST — but there were more challenges ahead. He found it difficult to adapt to the pressure of a new academic environment, but he survived a dark first year with a GPA of 1.5. In the summer that followed, he was unexpectedly invited to participate Tsz-Fung decided to pursue a higher diploma in information technology at a local vocational institute. Here, he developed his understanding of personal growth, identifying the ways personal demons, emotions, and psychology can hinder someone’s performance in life, and he began to sharpen his soft skills ever since. Success is never accidental; it is reserved for those who have plenty of choices.
