To Inspire. To Be Inspired. – 30 Stories on HKUST Faculty, Alumni and Students

75 HKUST students who face unexpected financial hardship or catastrophic events that could disrupt or place extra pressure on their studies. To date, the brothers’ contributions to AEF and other university programs have gone beyond HK$20 million. In recognition of their unwavering support, the lobby area in the Business School building has been named the “Terry and Terence Tsang Atrium”. Terry explains why donating means so much to him: “We wouldn’t be where we are now without the support we received from our HKUST family all those years ago. Giving that gift of support to someone else is an incredible honor and privilege.”. As entrepreneurs themselves, Terry and Terence are keen to foster a new generation of social-minded entrepreneurs. In addition to hiring HKUST graduates for their own company, offering internship opportunities, and mentoring students, they are active supporters of student enrichment and entrepreneurshiprelated programs at their alma mater. Through their guidance and support, they hope to inspire students and young graduates to follow their innovative footsteps. Terry and Terence have always remembered their roots. Seeing HKUST as a family, they continue to encourage other alumni to stay connected and give back to their alma mater — knowing that when you pass it on, great things can happen.
