For years, the area was subjected to heavy mud flows whenever there was a downpour. Determined to solve the problem radically, Jenny herself trekked up to an inaccessible part of the hill and discovered a landslide. Without her courage and spirit, the hazard could not have been addressed and treated As a civil engineer with the government, Jenny has always strived to protect the lives of local citizens through her work, and she is fearless in her performance. Her focus on landslide risk management, geotechnical control, emergency response, crisis communication and public education on slope safety has taken her to places not for the faint of heart. She is unafraid of getting her hands dirty to solve complex problems, I really enjoy interacting with the public and serving the community. It’s what makes my job so rewarding.
