INTRODUCTION The University believes in a total and holistic education that extends far beyond the lecture halls. Residential experience is a cornerstone of this growth, serving as an important living and learning platform. The Jockey Club Hall offers a wide range of diverse programs and activities including sports, art and culture, leadership, and spiritual activities to help students grow and learn. Residents are encouraged to be active participants rather than mere spectators. Residential living provides a unique opportunity for students to develop essential life skills, such as interpersonal communication, self-reliance, and collaborative leadership. Far more than places to sleep and study, the Hall is a vibrant community where cultures come together. The main objective of this handbook is to provide students with the essential information, guidelines, and hall rules needed to derive maximum benefit from their residential experience. While the University provides the physical environment and management, it is the students who give life, character, and spirit to the Hall through their active participation. Students are encouraged to make good use of this handbook to explore the facilities and services available to them.
