5 November 2026 (Thursday) | 2026年11月5日（星期四） Day 2 of World Class University Presidents Forum 世界頂尖大學校長論壇第二天 Shaw Auditorium, HKUST 科大逸夫演藝中心 THEME II — The University and Society The modern university is no longer a place apart, but a partner in the health and survival of the communities it serves — and, increasingly, of the planet itself. Pandemics, aging populations, a warming climate: no government, company, or country solves these alone, and universities hold much of the knowledge and convening power the work requires. This theme moves past the easy consensus that engagement is good, to ask what responsible engagement actually demands. 09:00-10:15 Panel Dialogue II ｜ 專題對話（二） Health Without Borders: Universities and the Next Century of Global Health 健康無界：大學與全球健康的下一個世紀 Pandemics, aging populations, and deep inequities have shown that health knows no borders— and neither can our response. This dialogue explores how universities can advance discovery, train the next generation of health leaders, and close the equity gap between and within nations. The question before us: how do we build a century of health that reaches everyone? Duncan IVISON, President and Vice-Chancellor, The University of Manchester Duncan IVISON Mark SCOTT, Vice-Chancellor and President, The University of Sydney 悉尼大學校長Mark SCOTT Shitij KAPUR, Vice-Chancellor and President, King’s College London 倫敦國王學院校長Shitij KAPUR TANG Hongwu, President, Sun Yat-sen University 中山大學校長唐洪武 LO Yuk Ming Dennis, Vice-Chancellor and President, The Chinese University of Hong Kong 香港中文大學校長盧煜明 Alexander Ping-kong WAI, President and Vice-Chancellor, Hong Kong Baptist University 香港浸會大學校長衞炳江 Mosa MOSHABELA, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, University of Cape Town 開普敦大學校長 Mosa MOSHABELA Juliane WINKELMANN, Executive Vice President International Alliances and Alumni, Technical University of Munich 慕尼黑工業大學常務副校長 （國際合作夥伴關係及校友事務） Juliane WINKELMANN 18
