2 | GUIDELINES FOR PANEL SESSIONS These apply to the Opening Panel, Panel Dialogues I to III, and the Closing Panel, using the Main Stage Format. Each session lasts 60-75 minutes. General Provisions 1. Main-stage sessions are moderated conversations held on the main stage before the full assembly. Each comprises one moderator and a group of speakers seated on stage, engaging in a guided discussion of a single theme. 2. Each speaker is invited to prepare brief opening remarks of three to five minutes, setting out their perspective on the theme. No materials need be submitted in advance. 3. Speakers are encouraged to engage directly with one another’s views to foster a genuine exchange rather than a series of separate remarks. 4. The Closing Panel brings together six lead discussants—the moderators of the three Panel Dialogues and the chairs of the three Roundtables—each addressing the theme of the session they led.
