Jin Li is Vice President of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Acting Dean of the College of Business, Dean of SUSTech Academy of Finance and Economics, Visiting Chair Professor at Peking University, and Director of the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the Auspices of UNESCO. He previously served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Harvard Business School, Full Professor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and Associate Head of the Division of Economics and Management at Peking University. He is a member of the 13th and 14th National Committees of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), its Economic Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Jiusan Society. He also serves as Rotating Chairman of the Global Corporate Governance Colloquia and Vice Chairman of China Management Science Society, among other positions, and as an independent director of several leading enterprises, including Ping An, TCL, and Intellifusion. He obtained his Ph.D. in Financial Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2001.
