Event Roundup
To celebrate the 20th graduation anniversary of our second cohort of graduates from the
Class of 1995
, a spectacular homecoming reunion was held in late April. President Prof Tony
Chan extended his warmest welcome to alumni and their family members and delivered a
detailed account of the University’s significant developments as it heads to its 25th anniversary.
Everyone was overjoyed to reconnect with old buddies and had a lot of fun, thanks to the
fabulous program of activities and the kids’ favorites – balloon art and bouncy castle!

Tough
Buddies
!
This year, 29 alumni of
EMBA Walkers’
Club
joined the 10th Gobi Challenge from
May 22-25. To prepare for it, they underwent
intensive training in Shanghai in mid-April,
followed by a large-scale oath-taking
assembly held concurrently with the EMBA Alumni Association’s annual alumni forum.
Every year, this core group participates in this tough challenge and all of them commit
themselves fully to meet it head on.
